The Zebra Team
Because Everything's Not Just Black and White

The Zebra Team brings together black and white focus group moderators. We have teamed up and aligned our skills to diffuse community tensions.

Deborah Spradley and Barbara Rugen have helped to reduce community tension before it escalates. We call ourselves the Zebra Team - one black woman and one white woman - who have synchronized skills and perspectives to diffuse conflict. We also train groups in methodologies to foster communication between people in ‘us vs. them’ situations.
